Fitness & More Fitness

SO, some of you cardio, some of you cardio and some of you cardio. *smiley Amanda Lynn
However, there is another alternative to cardio and still get the same results, or even better. I strength train. Strength training varies from resistance training to weight lifting. I prefer, the heavier, the better, but on my lazy, off days, I like my total gym. The total gym allows me to work out and be lazy at the same time, because I can just lie on it.
Strength training continues to burn calories and fat even after you are done your workout.
My regular day consists of:
50 Jumping Jacks @ 6:45 am
Shower, food, and etc.
Drop Logan off @ 8:00 am
To the shop til 2:30 pm
Pick Logan up @ 2:30 pm
To the grocery store, and then home
Normal cleaning consists of - vaccuuming, dishes, dusting, straightening up and and tidying, and laundry.
Stairs two at a time, whenever I take them (which is about 999 times a day) My ass is going to look great when I am 70 years old.
I then either, do the gazelle for half an hour, or more jumping jacks with power squats in between.
Everytime I go downstairs I do as many chin ups as I can.
Once a day I will do my lats, boxing, biceps, and back exercises, with every other day specifically focusing on one muscle group.
I change it up all the time, never do the same thing twice when it comes to strength training.
All my knowledge comes from watching and experiencing working out with others, such as Rick LaCroix ( he taught me a few different bicep movements and how to hold the bar straight with balance) Raymond Aube taught me (so what if you are girl, and he taught me a ton of energy recipes (always remember a baked potato half an hour before working out)) My mom taught me about cardio. Dad taught me about endurance (do it til you are done, and do it well) I have a bit of advice over the years from various people at the gym, which is nice. It is great to have someone tell you if you are doing something wrong. It betters you.
Ok, I am so blabbing away here. That doesn't happen often. Enjoy!
